I am a young emerging artist originating from Epsom, Surrey. I undertook a Fine Art Degree at the University for the Creative Arts. Portraiture and people are the focus within my practice, for it is the subject I enjoy most. I have embarked upon other subjects such as animals and nature too. I like to use a variety of mediums, including; oil paint, watercolours, pencil, ink, clay to name a few. My work has a plethora of different meanings attached to each one as they often resemble a kind of fantasy, some inspired by personal experiences, others by what is within my surroundings.

I take inspiration from classic renaissance paintings. I find them invigorating and have always admired the way fabric was painted, particularly the addition of gold for royal paintings. I also love paintings from the Edwardian era, capturing the whole of the period era, in which I am an avid fan. The style is soft and flowy, something I aim to show within the work I produce. However, my style is not one of major consistency. People are often expected to find a style and stick to it, but this is not something I believe in. I believe the artist should follow themselves and the concepts their mind creates, not constricting oneself to one medium or way of painting. To me, art is a means of freedom of expression, so why stick to the same thing all the time?
