Original design inspired by Victorian paintings. Painted using oil paint, a young woman is presented looking melancholy with dried rose petals decorating her shoulders. These dried rose petals were kept from my 18th birthday, a time where I felt melancholy, happy to be an adult, but wondering what life was all about, which made me feel scared and sad at the time too.
